The event aims to explore the synergistic use of biosignals (electromyography - EMG) and kinematic data acquired through Inertial Measurement Units (IMU). The goal is to analyze their applications in the field of Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) and Human Robotics, with particular attention to the modulation of locomotor movement.
The initiative, hosted by DISMI, will feature scientific contributions from national and international researchers.
Technical Agenda and Content
The technical presentation session will include talks on the following topics:
- Use of physiological signals in human-robot collaboration.
- EMG-based adaptive descriptors for decoding multi-DOF (Degrees of Freedom) motor tasks between different users in myoelectric control systems.
- Tele-impedance control of a virtual avatar based on EMG and M-IMU sensors.
- Role of minimally supervised learning in the control (myo) of artificial limbs in a human-in-the-loop context.
Industry Highlights
Industrial innovations and possibilities for integration between Delsys and Xsens technologies will be illustrated, in particular:
- Delsys Beta program for Linux environment.
- Integration with ROS-compatible paths for EMG.
- Xsens Humanoid platform.
- Integration between Delsys' Trigno Centro system and Xsens systems.
The event will conclude with a live demonstration of the Delsys and Xsens integration and a hands-on test drive session of the systems.
